Sarah Plymate Joins Our Family Company

There’s nothing more inspiring than seeing a family legacy carry on through many generations. The dream that kicked off in 1930 is still alive and well, in part because it was built on principles that last: providing quality service and prioritizing relationships. It’s a testament to the success and draw of this model when future generations gladly continue the work. That’s why we’re so excited to share that another fourth generation family member is joining the team. Our CEO’s daughter, Sarah Plymate, has joined our team and we’re thrilled to introduce her!

A Little About Sarah

Sarah joins her cousin, Ben Warnecke, in the fourth generation crew here at Plymate. She brings valuable work experience to our team, particularly in her ability to connect with people and build relationships both internally and externally with customers. She spent the last 15 years in education honing these skills as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal. “Developing relationships was vital in my role as a school leader,” Sarah says. “It will be crucial in establishing rapport with both co-workers and customers.”

It was her pride in the business her family developed that eventually brought her to Plymate. Her first few weeks have been invigorating as she navigates her new role and continues to learn about the processes, technology, and values that make up day-to-day operations. What she’s most excited about in this new chapter? “That Plymate’s values and purpose align so naturally with my own and with what I desire in a workplace,” she says. “I’m humbled to be part of my family’s fourth generation company.”
