Work Hard. Play Hard. Repeat!

We’ve developed a list of core values that we honor here at Plymate. One of those values is a belief that our co-workers make the difference, both to the quality of our operations as well as our customer service. We have an exceptional team, and it shows.

On September 15, we had the opportunity to celebrate our Plymate family—and their families, too! Each year we host our Co-Worker Carnival here at the plant. It’s a great chance for co-workers to show their families where they work, eat delicious food, win prizes, and get to know all of our extended Plymate family.

But most importantly, it’s a chance to have fun, and this year was no exception! Kids were treated to a tour of the plant so they could see where their parents work and what they do.

There was also a petting zoo, a bounce house, hot dogs and hamburgers (shout out to our chef for the evening, Director of Operations Steve Ferguson), music (emceed by Jim Sleeth, our Branded Apparel Director), prizes including a TV, drone, and gift cards, and even candy passed out by our beloved Plymate mascot, MatMan.

Special thanks also goes out to everyone that helped to make the day a success: Katrin Mahin, Katie Rowland, Dave Heath, Nancy Settles, Terri Warnecke, Ben Warnecke, Tim Sweet, Leo Darts, Greg Walker, Nate Dilley, Casey Dilley, and many others. Everyone here at Plymate works hard, from top management to production. We rely on the dedication of every person, at every level, to be successful as a company…and have some fun along the way!
