After nearly 90 years in business, we’ve learned countless lessons about what it means to build good working relationships. As Indiana’s premiere floor mat provider, we’re fortunate to work with so many great local customers and form lasting relationships built on trust.

Back in 1995, Plymate purchased a second building across the lot from our original plant and made it our designated mat plant. Having a designated mat facility has set us apart from our competitors and allows us to provide exceptional services to the state, and the Indianapolis market in particular. Our floor mat program continues to improve. Our strongest evidence of this is the wonderful customers who remain faithful to Plymate.

Speaking of Wonderful Customers

The Indiana Historical Society is a partnership we value deeply. We recently had the opportunity to meet with them and get their feedback. (Communication is one of our company’s core values!) Their Facility Services Manager, Roger Fish, shared the main reason the Indiana Historical Society chose to work with Plymate in the first place. It was largely because they appreciated that our recommendations were from a consultative perspective versus sales-driven.

We didn’t try to earn their business by over-promising; instead, we considered the best interests of their needs, their image, and their budget. We were able to create a custom mat program that included a wider variety and higher quality mats. Plus, we did it at a lower price point than their previous supplier. Every promise made by our sales team has been kept and many expectations have been exceeded. These are things the Historical Society appreciates and part of what makes the relationship strong.
