SCUFFY Campaign Kickoff Breakfast!

Last week, SCUFFY held their annual Campaign Kickoff Breakfast! This marks their 65th annual campaign to invest in our community, raising funds for local agencies across Shelby County.

This organization is very dear to our hearts here at Plymate. Our founder, Glenn Plymate, was one of the original founders of SCUFFY 65 years ago. We feel honored to contribute to his legacy and continue our partnership with an organization that makes such an impact on our community.

2019 Campaign

The kickoff breakfast marks the beginning of the 2019 campaign with a goal to raise $840,000. Each sponsor, Pacesetter, and benefactor of the drive is recognized and represented at this meeting. This campaign, Plymate is a Pacesetter. Pacesetters are those who run their fundraising campaigns early and jumpstart the drive. We are proud to be a Pacesetter this year and support the community, along with eight other partner groups.

So far this year, the group of Pacesetters has collectively been able to raise $141,893.84 ($16,400 of which was raised by Plymate co-workers, who were excited to help make a difference in this way!) Our Plymate team will continue to hold fundraising campaigns within our organization through the end of the SCUFFY drive in May. Every single dollar raised through the campaign gets allocated to the 12 member agencies, going directly to help strengthen those in our community. We are always proud to partner with SCUFFY. Most importantly, we’re proud to have amazing co-workers who selflessly give what they can to help those in our community.Screen displaying Plymate's dollar amount raised
