Plymate’s New Partnership: Nine13sports
One of the best parts of being a local, family-owned uniform and mat rental company is the joy we get from our relationships within the community. From the very beginning, Plymate has been proud to call Central Indiana home. Working with other organizations that care deeply about strengthening this community will continue to be a priority, and we’re thrilled to announce a brand new partnership to that end!
Our New Partner
We’ll be joining forces with Nine13sports, a truly incredible organization that develops and empowers youth through a simple tool: the bike! Through their Kids Riding Bikes program, students experience an indoor bike training experience that imparts the benefits of fitness, community, and teamwork while teaching kids about bike mechanics, safety, and technology.
The partnership will kick off in the fall and continue through the 2019-2020 school year supporting Kids Riding Bikes programs in Washington and Lawrence Townships schools. “This partnership will be key in helping us meet the ever-increasing demand within Marion County,” said Nine13sports CEO Tom Hanley. “Having a company like Plymate put their trust in us to represent them here in the city is something we don’t take lightly. We look forward to representing them proudly.”
Through the partnership, Nine13sports will grow the reach of its Kids Riding Bikes program. The program uses an engaging software program that interfaces with the bicycles ridden by the students during their physical education classes.
“We are so happy to be a part of bringing this program to kids,” says Plymate President Todd Plymate. “Both of these school districts are longtime customers. To be able to support them in this new way is exciting for us. We are proud to put our name alongside Nine13sports for many reasons but especially because we share the same strategy of investing in innovative technology to make a larger impact on those we serve.”
In addition to Nine13sports, Plymate is proud to have community partnerships with many Shelby County organizations including SCUFFY (Shelby County United Fund for You), The Blue River Foundation, Healthy Shelby County, Shelby County Boys and Girls Club, Girls Inc. and Major Hospital Foundation.
