Plymate’s Annual Awards Banquet

Every spring, Plymate holds an awards banquet to honor co-workers and recognize award recipients. It’s a wonderful annual tradition, and we got to hold another Awards Banquet last week.

This year’s banquet was at the Indiana Grand Racing and Casino. The event always includes a delicious dinner, entertainment, and a relaxed backdrop to enjoy colleagues outside of the usual work environment. Todd Plymate, our President and CEO, served as the Master of Ceremonies, providing a light “roast” for the evening’s honorees!

The Glenn Plymate Award is a special part of the evening, given annually to the co-worker of year. This year we honored Ashley Brown for her amazing dedication, attitude, and service! Lilyann Gulley, step-daughter of our District Manager, Brad Barnard, was the recipient of the James T. Plymate Scholarship award, and many co-workers are celebrating milestone work anniversaries. Anniversaries range from one to thirty years with the company. We recognized several co-workers this year:

In addition, we love to award prizes! This year’s prizes included a Toshiba Smart TV, 2 Instant Pots, 2 Fitbit Altas, 4 Amazon Fire TV Sticks, and 4 Amazon Echo Dots.

This is a fun event that dates back to 1990—one we always look forward to. It’s a great opportunity to connect and have fun with our work family! It also reinforces Plymate’s core value that co-workers make all the difference.
